We have removed two Frontier Herb spice blends from our bulk herb selection due to a precautionary recall. Muchi Curry Powder and Garlic ‘n Herb Blend (both non-organic) could potentially be affected by a recall of conventionally grown black pepper due to salmonella contamination.

While the source of the contamination is unknown and no illnesses have been associated with any Frontier Herb products, we welcome shoppers who have purchased these products between 10/26/09 and 3/4/10 to return any remaining product for a refund.

Have you ever thought about what happens to local food shelves once the influx of holiday season donations winds down?

As the New Year passes, food shelves are depleted.

We are delighted to announce that the co-op’s member loan drive has surpassed our goal of $1.5 million in committed loans from more than 200 co-op members! Linden Hills Co-op is moving in fall 2010 to a new larger location at 3815 Sunnyside Avenue. We will continue accepting and processing loan agreements on a case-by-case basis, subject to approval by the board of directors.
